As a Peer Counselor, you will provide guidance, emotional support, and resources to individuals facing personal challenges. You will play a key role in fostering a supportive environment where individuals can feel heard, validated, and encouraged.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one peer support sessions (chat/call)
- Support late-night sharing sessions & hotline services
- Listen with empathy, without judgment
- Offer initial support and refer to professional help when needed
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in every session
- Participate in regular training and development
Qualifications:
- Is currently based outside Indonesia (non-WIB timezone preferred)
- Final-year Psychology student or Bachelor’s degree graduate in Psychology
- Has taken counseling-related coursework (for active students)
- Has strong empathy and communication skills
- Is comfortable handling emotional conversations
- Is committed for a minimum of 6 months
- Has availability of ±4 hours/week (to support evening WIB sessions)
